Chemical plants do not run on goodwill and optimism. SAP EWM is being implemented to handle exactly that. Procurement is another area getting a proper overhaul, the current supplier management process has too many manual touchpoints and not enough visibility. And then there is the planning and reporting side, where SAC planning & analytics comes in. Leadership has been making decisions without a reliable consolidated view for too long. That changes with the SAP SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud).
Discovery and process workshops are running now across the business. It is early days but the engagement is structured well and both teams are aligned on what good looks like.
