CeBIT, the world’s leading event for digital business, continued to gain in quality this year, which especially benefited the start-ups among the 4,000 companies that participated in 2013. More trade visitors, strong participation from more than 120 countries, and a big increase in the number of IT and purchasing decision-makers made CeBIT 2013 the best in years. For five days of the year, CeBIT is the pulsing heart of the digital industry. More than 4,000 companies from over 70 countries showcased the latest innovations from the high-tech sector.

Poland, this year’s Partner Country, used CeBIT 2013 to firmly establish itself as one of the world’s high tech nations. With its top theme, Shareconomy, CeBIT triggered discussions throughout the world’s digital economy. A share of visiting trade professionals that rose to 84 percent, strong participation from more than 120 countries, and the most IT executives and purchasing directors the event has seen for some time, made CeBIT 2013 the best event in years. The last five days in Hannover have been devoted to international business and networking. The CeBIT Global Conferences, with 75 hours of international programming on three stages, 103 speakers from all over the world, and a unique mix of topics – was the digital world’s most important conference event and think tank. The next CeBIT will run from March 11 to 15, 2014.
